Put on this steel skin.  It is somewhat uncomfortable and spiny, but your perspective has changed a little.  You are a part of the art itself. Art involves both play and investigation. I often bring in mythology and images from my years as a biologist to help tell a story.  For this work, steel is a perfect chameleon medium.  It is a metal that can hold a bridge together or quiver in delicate tendrils, subject to a breath of wind.
